I think that taking a free year out of school is to be able to think more about what to do in the future, maybe organize a plan or several to be able to take the best, at that age it is very difficult to make such complex decisions for what is required more Awareness and possibly experience, the comments made in the video are accurate is not about taking a vacation but rather a time to be able to concrete and join ideas.
For me it is important to take some time before going to university. This implies that the time that you go to take is in your favor that during this time you can choose the race that you want to study, that you decide that you decide that you want to do for the life and thus empieses a professional route very advantageous, besides that You will have advantages over others. There are many benefits of taking a gap year before entering university, principally becoming independent in every aspect but Peruvians are not prepared to have such experiences because at that age we do not have the maturity enough as foreigners have . I completely agree with both videos, and as i heard its very important to have plan when someone wants to take a year off, besides you have to look for experience and not to waste that time. but i consider also, that here where we live there are not other option than studying and in order to not to fil to their parents, students just take the traditional path and many times they dont think in themselves, and they just take a major to study and sometimes that is not wht they actually want.
